Born in 1981 in Mumbai and raised in Ahmedabad, Nirav Panchal began his remarkable journey in the garment industry at just 14 years old, working as a porter. Over time, his dedication and hard work transformed him into a skilled tailor and designer, eventually leading to a thriving career in textile tourism. With an enduring passion for Gujarat’s rich textile heritage, Nirav has guided countless tours across the state, showcasing its artistry to visitors from around the globe.
A recipient of the prestigious Best Tour Guide of Gujarat award and a committed volunteer for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s heritage walk for 18 years, Nirav’s contributions to promoting Gujarat’s cultural legacy are extraordinary. Leveraging his over 20 years of experience in textile tourism and research, Nirav co-founded Indivaan—a brand devoted to sustainable fashion and women’s empowerment. His leadership continues to shape our vision of tradition blended with innovation, inspiring every member of the team.
Urvashi Panchal is not only a passionate cooking teacher and an expert in traditional recipes, but she is also an integral pillar of Indivaan’s inspiring journey. Seventeen years ago, Urvashi joined Nirav as a volunteer guide for the Ahmedabad heritage walk, where their shared love for the city’s rich history blossomed into a beautiful partnership. Now married and blessed with a daughter born on World Heritage Day, Urvashi continues to fuel Nirav’s endeavors with her unwavering support and insight. Her belief in empowering women artisans and promoting sustainable practices drives Indivaan’s core values.
Senior Fashion Designer Divya Verma is an exceptionally talented fashion designer who has been an integral part of the Indivaan team for the past year. With a passion for innovative design, Divya collaborates closely with artisans and teammates to elevate the brand, bringing fresh ideas to life and expanding Indivaan’s product offerings.
